Dimitar Talev

Dimitar Talev ((ブルガリア語:Димитър Талев)) (1 September 1898 – 20 October 1966) was a Bulgarian writer and journalist.
==Biography==
Born in Prilep, in the Manastir Vilayet of the Ottoman Empire (present-day Republic of Macedonia), he graduated high school in Bitola. Talev studied medicine and philosophy in Zagreb and Vienna, and Slavic philology in Sofia University (1925). He was the managing editor of the ''Macedonia'' newspaper, and a contributor and editor in the ''Zora'' newspaper. In 1944 he was arrested by the communist authorities for his patriotic and anti - macedonistic position and sent to the Sofia Central Prison and later to the labor camps Bobov Dol and Kutsian. He was expelled from the Bulgarian Writers' Union and from 1948 to 1952 he was exiled in Lukovit. In 1966 Talev was elected as MP in the 31st Narodno Sabranie (Bulgarian Parliament).
Talev Glacier on Graham Land, Antarctica is named after Dimitar Talev.
